Lurking Hive Soldier is a Skordyre Soldier Heroscape unit. Life 1, Move 7, Range 1, Attack 4, Defense 3, 30 points. Free printable army card.
If a Lurking Hive Soldier is targeted and would take 1 or more wounds from an attacking figure who is not adjacent, you must roll the 20-sided die. Count the minimum number of spaces between the attacker and that Lurking Hive Soldier. Add this number to your die roll. If you roll a 12 or higher, ignore those wounds.
A Lurking Hive Soldier is never attacked when leaving an engagement.
